To my eye, there is no palette of color more pleasing than the Autumnal spectrum of green to red. This Himalayan blackberry bush presented an amazing array within a single leaf. I think it’s a rather perfect Fall pattern.

Humans often strive for a kind of geometric balance and symmetry in Art and Architecture that seems far more “perfect” or precise than most of what the naked eye sees in Nature.
What exactly do we mean by a “pattern”?
According to the Cambridge Dictionary, a pattern is “any regularly repeated arrangement, especially a design made from repeated lines, shapes, or colors on a surface.”
Which of these examples would you call “perfect”?

Raindrops on pine needles seems pretty perfect. Matches have a funny twist.
Those are rather unique, and antique. 😉
A dazzling display of perfect patterns this week Priscilla! I loved every one of them but your closing image is my favorite. Nature hard at work and frost is as perfect an example as I can imagine.
Thanks, Tina! I don’t see as much frost here in Oregon as I did in Wisconsin. Not complaining!
Everything nature attracts my eye, and the frost is very much like tiny feathers…love all your patterns, but most of all the natural ones!
Thanks, Ann-Christine! You know that the natural ones are my favorites, too. 😉

GREAT patterns! Chocolate chip cookies are my favorite… cookie.
Thanks! Yeah, I miss my chocolate chip cookie days…gluten-free just doesn’t come close.
Beautiful set. The fern spores look lovely
Thanks!
Wonderful images. So satisfying to look at.
Thanks, Don! Glad you like them.
Great examples of patterns Priscilla! But I would vote for the chocolate chippers as the best and most flavorful pattern. They are yummy too. Great images!!
Thanks, Anne! Definitely the flavor favorite. 😉
F oh r me… the feathers, the pine cones, the cookies. All great patterns.
I’m glad you found something you like! 🙂
Beautiful shots!!!!
Thanks! Thanks for your visit to my blog; I’m glad you found some stuff you liked! 🙂
I find all of them very pleasing. I was always fascinated by the frost patterns on windows as a child. Having lived in Florida for many years, I had forgotten how lovely frost can be. Thanks for the reminder! ❤
Thanks, Cheryl. The beauty of frost is one of the little perks of living in freezing weather. 🙂
