Amy chose a topic for this week’s challenge that is sure to make a splash! She coaches us:
In Jim Hamel’s “Top 10 Features to Bring Your Seascape Photos to Life”, his list includes piers/docks, lighthouses, sunrise and sunset, rock formations, patterns in the water, animals, powerful waves, people, reflections, and clouds.
The image of the sunset of the Lake Michigan is incredible. Four generations have enjoyed so far… Wow! Love the shoreline photos of the Midwest, beautifully captured.
Thank you for sharing your sweet memories, Priscilla! 🙂
My pleasure, Amy. Place is a special gift to be passed down for endless generations.
How nice that they named a beach after you Priscilla! I remember the first time I saw Lake Michigan. I was astounded at how immense it is and that it has waves much like the ocean. Loved your variety this week!
I heard that my parents went looking through New England cemeteries for names. Probably Priscilla Mullins and John Alden’s story came to bear on that beach.
How romantic 😊
Or creepy…depending on who you ask. 😉 I was born in Salem. A certain magic to that, too.
Great selection of pictures, Scilla!
Thanks, Sue! I bet you have a few of Lake Michigan, too.
Nice. I like the perspective in that first shot.
Thanks. It makes me think of long summer days drawing me towards cool water.
Very nice pictures Priscilla, I especially like the first one of Lake Michigan.
Thanks for your visit, Sylvia. That first photo is one of my favorites as well.
Some extraordinary shots and the last one is pure joy. I’m glad to be on your pages again.
Welcome back and thanks for your visit!
