I watched “The Belle of Amherst” from your post, spellbound. The clutching of a daisy shows Emily’s innocence; I think it was a nice touch of character.
Yes! In fact daisies do remind me of her and hence the use of it on the FB page. Thanks! 🙂
I don’t have a FB account, so I haven’t seen the page you’re referring to. Is that on your personal page?
Oh, sorry. It’s my poetry/humanities FB page. I posted a photograph of a daisy with a quote from E.D. the other day. Well, we are of a mind when it comes to daisies. Hope you enjoyed the “Belle of Amhurst” ….
Daisy, Daisy, give me your answer do.
I’m half crazy all for the love of you.
It won’t be a stylish marriage.
I can’t afford a carriage.
But you’ll look sweet,
upon the seat,
of a bicycle made for two
Harry, Harry, this is my answer true,
I’m not crazy all for the love of you
I did want a stylish marriage,
You’d better get a carriage
‘Cuz I’ll be damned
If I’ll be crammed
On a bicycle built for two!
Yeah, I know ALL the words to EVERY old fashioned silly song….ask my family.
Daisies are the friendliest flowers. 🙂
Yup! With a wink to Meg Ryan 😉
I love that you got that reference. 🙂
Of course!

I love daisies and consider them “innocent” as well. Nicely done. 🙂

Poor old Harry……I’m quite distraught.
Not all Daisies are that carefree & innocent, I guess.
