Leading lines:Patterns:Color:Contrast:Selective Focus:Freezing the Action:Doorways or arches:The eyes: Moon the cat is the perfect subject to deliver a message of Happy Halloween and Blue Moon. I also wish those who celebrate All Saints and All Souls beautiful holy-days. Be safe, be well, be optimistic as the Earth revolves slowly…
Hey there! I saw on Juls blog you recently moved or are moving to Oregon. I will be moving up there too, but to Bend. How are you liking it?? Beautiful shots by the way!
I love Oregon, but after being there only a month, I’ve spent the last 2 months in California with family. I have so much more to discover and learn; looking forward to returning at the end of this month.
Lovely examples Priscilla – of course Moon the cat is the winner this week in light of Halloween AND the blue moon!!!
Yeah, he’s a pretty awesome subject. 🙂

Ooh. GREAT examples. The iron fence tops is just one of my favorites.
Thanks, John. I do like the depth of field and pattern in that shot, too.
