  1. Priscilla, what a thoughtful interpretation of the theme! I liked what you wrote, starting with Forster’s quote. Thank you for the history behind the love locks, too. I thoroughly enjoyed reading your post and seeing its accompanying photos. Excellent!

  2. Thanks for the shout out to last week’s AI challenge. Your take on the topic of the week is creative. I’d thought of the love locks, but alas, I’ve never had the opportunity to photograph a lite with those connecting locks. Rest assured, I won’t ask AI to create an image for my post. >grin<

Seriously, Priscilla, that quote is so fitting for this challenge, and you’ve skillfully built upon it with your images.

  3. Oh my goodness. Not sure where to begin. This is s powerful beginning with the quote and your mom’s understanding and philosophy to embrace “Only connect”. If only we all thought that way. Beautifully penned with a tidbit of humor in the love locks. Yes connections . I love the generations connecting with your sister, and the symbolism behind the reflection. I love it! All of it.

      • It definitely was, and yet also a chance to bask in family. It was a tough road to my dad’s passing a year ago so my trips home (to NH) were always …necessary. I have always been close to my brother and to gather without worry and talks about what is next etc…(you know..). It felt so uplifting. Lots of laughter and reliving old memories. The trip was indeed exotic and also simply a great chance to “be”. LOVED your post!!!!

  4. I love your unique take on this, more so because you were inspired by something your mother used to say. My mom has been gone for close to 30 years, any memory that surfaces is a treasure.
