“I believe the children are our future
Teach them well and let them lead the way
Show them all the beauty they possess inside
Give them a sense of pride to make it easier

“There is a fountain of youth: it is your mind, your talents, the creativity you bring to your life and the lives of the people you love. When you learn to tap this source, you will truly have defeated age.” — Sophia Loren

This is true, even if I had not thought about it that way, ever. thanks for this one. There is a fountain of youth: it is your mind, your talents, the creativity you bring to your life and the lives of the people you love. Love the first photo, so sweet.
Thanks, Ritva!
Loved your response this week Priscilla. the quotes are perfect and the images are wonderful. The opener MUST be Easter Sunday, no? The “parade leader” is marvelous in his flamingo hat and the pied piper is perfect!
The opening photo was taken at a wedding. The basket is something we provide at our services for little folks. 🙂 Thanks for the great challenge!
Whenever I see a guy like the one with the flamingo hat, I think, I hope I can be like that. They are the one who have life figured out, and the kids know it. I love the Sofia Loren quote and the photo of the man in front of the sculptures is fantastic. Stay young indeed. A great post.
Thanks, Donna!
Priscilla, both the quotes and photos you used here are superb. The joy on the children’s faces is crystal clear. What a wonderful post!
Thank you!
Great photos, great quotes. Well done.
Thanks, John!
A wonderful post, Priscilla. The fountain of youth…I will remember that. Sophia Loren is a wise woman. Your pictures are great and so are the quotes.
Thanks, Ann-Christine. Welcome home! I hope you rest well from your travels. Your post is absolutely beautiful; all the children’s faces are so clearly and intimately captured. The one with the red scarf captures that calm, beautiful eye so perfectly – it’s stunning!
Thank you so much for your lovely comment, Priscilla! Jetlagged, but on the recovery.
Absolutely wonderful images Priscilla! I especially liked the boy imitating the statute. What a great catch.
Thanks, Anne! That boy is actually 38 years old. 🙂
Oops, he looks so young!
My point exactly! 🙂
👍
Perfect lyric to share with your post, Sillagrace!
Thanks, John!
