Ring the bells that still can ring
Forget your perfect offering
There is a crack, a crack in everything
That’s how the light gets in.
– Leonard Cohen, “Anthem”

“Security is mostly a superstition. It does not exist in nature, nor do the children of men as a whole experience it. Avoiding danger is no safer in the long run than outright exposure. Life is either a daring adventure, or nothing.”
– Helen Keller

“I have learned throughout my life as a composer chiefly through my mistakes and pursuits of false assumptions, not by my exposure to founts of wisdom and knowledge.” – Igor Stravinsky

Great examples Priscilla. I’m not sure there’s a right or wrong in photography.
Thanks; I agree! 🙂
😊
Love your words and your photos. I agree with Anne, no right or wrong, just what it is.
Thanks, Sofia. Great challenge and examples!
Terrific illustration of the possibilities we enjoy with today’s technology, offset by the wise lessons of those who came before us. Loved your response the week Priscilla.
Thanks, Tina!
Great photos and quotes. Love the sky in the right-most beach scene.
Thanks, John!
…in the kind hands of an artist… Love that. I also love the beach shot.
Thank you!
Well handled, this challenge – love the photography and the quotes as well.
Thanks, Ann-Christine! I don’t have Photoshop, and I’m seeing what wonders it can do on other people’s blogs. Truly amazing!
Your wonders are just as wonderful, Priscilla!
Nice choices for the theme, Scilla. And the quotes works so well for this one.
Thanks, Sue!
Life is either a daring adventure, or nothing” How true that must have been for Helen Keller, who, as you know I am named after
I would love to hear the story of how you came to be named sometime!
There is no big story Priscilla , just that my mother knew about and admired Helen Keller so I think it seemed natural to her to give me her name.
