This year was on of tumultuous change for me, as I’m sure it was for many people around the globe. I appreciate the weekly Lens-Artists photo challenge for providing a constant throughout the year. Every Saturday, no matter where I was, I knew that I would spend time doing something creative to connect me with a section of humanity.
Thank you, my followers, for helping me feel visible in a year of isolation and strangeness. You have moved from Wisconsin to Oregon to California and back to Oregon with me. You read about my mother’s illness and death, and you celebrated my reunions with my children and siblings. Thank you for your ‘likes’ and your comments; they’ve meant a lot to me this year.
I am very much looking forward to the possibilities this new year presents. May it bring us all growth, joy, and peace as we practice loving ourselves and the others who share this marvelous planet.
Happy/Healthy New Year! I like your monthly themed photos for this challenge.
Thank you! And all the best to you, too!
Truly beautifully said Priscilla – and thank you so much for the lovely comment about our challenge. It means so much to us to have loyal participants like you and to get such positive feedback. Wishing you a wonderful year in your new environment surrounded by so many who love you!
Thank you, Tina, for being a faithful part of this bizarre year!
My pleasure Priscilla – bizarre indeed !
Great post, Priscilla!
I share with you that feeling of union that blogs allow us to. In difficult times, being able to share those emotions helps a lot.🤗
Thanks, Ana! Yes, we are healthier sharing together. 🙂
Love the notion of a calendar of favorites! We actually need a 2021 calendar in our house. You’ve given me an idea!! Thanks.
My pleasure, John! Enjoy your creative response!
WOW. Great photos, great choices. Beautiful!
Oh, thanks, John!
That dog has such a sad face and right there sums up much of 2020 ! It has been some year for sure!
February in Wisconsin can be brutal any year. 😉
