Thank you, Patti, for challenging us this week to change our perspective as we photograph our subjects and for reminding us that Ansel Adams said,
“A good photograph is knowing where to stand.”
Excellent. Love the quotes, and shoe shot, ‘knowing where to stand.’
Thanks, John.
Love your perspectives! 🙂
Thanks, Ana!
Beautiful photos, love your perspectives. The first one is stunning!
Yes, that’s one of my all-time favorites. Thanks, Amy!
Wow Priscilla, your posts are always interesting but you’ve really outdone yourself this week. Both the images and the quotes are spot on, perfectly matched and simply stunning. Excellent job!!
Thank you so much, Tina! I really enjoyed this challenge.
What perfect travelling feet you have! And great photos to match. Thanks Scilla. M
The human subject in all the shots is Steve. He was a great travelling companion, to be sure, and walking was his specialty. 🙂
bsolutely perfect, Priscilla! As always a very enjoyable entry – and your quotes are excellent choices for your photos. I just Love the first and the third one – with Steve and landscape. The colours and the mood – ♥
Thanks, Ann-Christine! This one had a lot of possible angles…get it? 😉
;-D
Beautiful perspectives, Priscilla! Your shots are as inspirational as your quotes!
Thanks, Patti! There are a lot of good quotes on that subject and lots of possibilities for finding inspiration. How we look at things determines so much!
Very true.
Fabulous photos of perspectives, Priscilla. The first photo is amazing. I love the quotes!
The moment I took that first photo was breathtaking. We’d been in the car for hours, got into Badlands National Park, got onto the canyon rim road and pulled off at the first view point. That was our first look, and it was absolutely astounding! Thanks for your visit, Miriam.
You’re welcome, Priscilla! It was breathtaking. I’ve seen photos of Badlands National Park, but haven’t traveled to South Dakota yet. The layers of rocks tell great stories in history.
And you can find fossils! Check out this post about my find: https://scillagrace.com/2018/10/01/citizen-science-at-badlands-national-park/
Thank you for sharing the link, Priscilla. You had an exciting journey. The photos were an excellent guide for the location of the fossil.
