Tina of Travels and Trifles lives in the South where they’ve had snow exactly twice in 20 years. A recent snowfall there prompted her to challenge us with the photo theme of COLD.
Honey, I live in Wisconsin. Have I got “COLD”? You bet!
Holy smokes Priscilla. I visited Wisconsin years ago in the summer and it was glorious. Remind me NEVER to go in the winter! Your images are frostily fabulous!
I’m glad to have shown you something wondrous and new to you! The cold is exhilarating in many ways…and can be dreary when prolonged, as can practically everything, I think. Watching how animals respond to it is interesting. They don’t pass judgement, they adapt.
Beautifully cold. π
Thank you; I think Wisconsin is quite beautiful.

We do have the full spectrum of seasons here, and they are glorious! But in the Nort’ you get cold.
Great cold post!!!
Priscilla, the icy images are marvelous!
Thanks, Ana, for the warm regards! π

Haven’t seen you for ages, so I hope all’s well. Lovely photos of the beauty of winter!

Thanks, Janet! All’s well, if chilly.
Here, too. π
Cold! Love the crystals and the last photo best. Very nice.
Thank you, John. Stay snug!
Lovely images Priscilla… especially like the frost closeups, though all are excellent.
Thanks, Bruce. I have seen your beautiful shots of snow around your lake…cold and exquisite.
Beautiful images and it’s from a world totally alien to us …
We have seen snow only in images π
I am from Kerala, a small state at the Southern tip of India and we live very close to Equator π

You are right, it’s beautiful to see but I could imagine how hard it will be to live in extreme cold conditions.
In our place, even 22 Degree Celsius is very cold π
