Chanele, thanks for your visit and your comment. Taking macro shots is not too difficult. I don’t have a special lens on my digital camera. Set the f-stop to something like 4.5 so that your depth of field is shallow, get up as close as you can while still keeping the subject in focus, and let the background blur. Use the rule of thirds to put your focal spot in an interesting place in the frame, not dead center. That’s the basics; then just experiment. Have fun!
